All done! That took way longer than expected, but we've learned a ton of lessons about what to do (and what not to do) next time we do one of these maintenance tasks. Thanks for being so patient with us. Buildkite is back, and everything should be super snappy again!

Update
Our longest running vacuum/analyse has just finished. We're starting our last one - which is much smaller than the last. Once that's done, we'll turn the REST API back on and everything should be running as normal.

Our database maintenance tasks are still running (vacuum/analyse), we've just got a few left to go before we can finish everything up. We'll keep you in the loop.

We've just enabled the web interface again. Builds may be slow to run and start while our database catches up with it's maintenance tasks. We've also disabled the REST API for a short period.

We're still waiting for the database operations to finish! We're keeping an eye on them like a hawk. Once they've completed, we'll be back online!

Maintenance is just gonna go over by a little bit! We're just letting our database perform some maintenance tasks (vacuuming and analysing) before bringing everything back online. Once those tasks are done, we'll bring everything back online quick smart!

Howdy folks! We'll be upgrading the database this weekend, Sunday morning AEST. We expect only a few seconds of actual downtime, but will have a two hour window between 10am - 12pm AEST where availability may be intermittent. Buildkite Web and API may be briefly down during the window. Buildkite Agents and Builds should be mostly unaffected due to the Agent's retry behaviour. We'll keep you updated with our progress as we go!
